Annual Giving
The Flemington-Raritan Community Theater applies
annually for State and County grants for partial funding
of our productions. These grants represent a very small
portion of the revenue needed, and as you may know, the
state of New Jersey has severely cut government funding
for the arts. In light of these cutbacks, FRCT works
diligently toward a realistic business plan each year,
allowing for the delivery of quality theatre while
keeping costs down. Additionally, only a small
percentage of expenses are covered from box office
ticket sales. Therefore we must begin to rely on gifts
and grants from individuals, corporations, etc. to keep
our work alive.
It takes substantial financial resources to present
“professional” amateur theatre, and as a
“not-for-profit” organization, we strive to maintain
reasonable ticket prices and take a very practical
approach toward production costs. All financial support
comes from program advertising, business sponsorships,
ticket sales and individuals…like you.
To continue these successful productions, please
consider making a donation to our annual fund today.
Any help you might provide is greatly appreciated!
Your gift is more than a donation – it is an
investment in the growth of our community!
